Apostle Levonzia Stevens, Sr. is a vessel through whom God has implanted a vision to transform lives and cultivate a unified community for the Kingdom of God. He serves as the Apostle of Hope Aglow Empowerment Church , a multicultural church located in Northern Virginia and globally. Apostle Stevens is supported by his wife, Pastor Saverna, and their three children Juanita, Desiree, and Levonzia, Jr.
Growing up in the challenging environment of Newark, NJ, surrounded by drug and alcohol abuse, Apostle Stevens later served in the United States Marine Corps. Initially resisting the call of God on his life led him to make poor choices, culminating in nearly six years of incarceration. It was during this time that the Holy Spirit began to transform his life. In prison, he accepted the call to ministry and embarked on a journey to influence and transform lives for God’s kingdom.
Apostle Stevens brings a wealth of experience to his apostolic role, having navigated various life circumstances. Whether ministering on topics of prosperity, purpose, or kingdom warfare, he has been used by God to bring hope, compassion, and understanding to lost and hurting individuals. His teachings have profoundly impacted both leaders and businessmen alike. His mission is to impart a comprehensive knowledge of Jesus Christ that inspires individuals to become obedient disciples.
Apostle Stevens holds a Double Master's Degree in Biblical Studies and Theology from Christian Life School of Theology and Beacon University.
Pastor Saverna Stevens is the esteemed wife of Levonzia Stevens, Sr., Senior Apostle and co-founder of Hope Aglow Empowerment Church. She is a proud mother to Levonzia Jr., Juanita, and Desiree.
Pastor Stevens is an accomplished academic, having attended Kean College in Union, New Jersey, and Christian Life School of Theology in Columbus, Georgia, where she earned several degrees. In addition to her educational pursuits, she is a successful businesswoman in Northern Virginia, recognized for her numerous professional accolades. Her honesty, compassion, and unwavering commitment to excellence have positioned her for a distinctive role in women's ministry.
Furthermore, Pastor Stevens founded Kingdom Women and Talitha Cumi, two impactful ministries focused on empowering, encouraging, and equipping women for their next divine calling.
